Kingsley Shores Senior Living offers a positive alternative for the person who needs specialized care related to Alzheimer’s or dementia. Our Reflections memory care program is designed to celebrate each person's life and contributions in a supportive environment where residents may age in place. Staff members are specially trained to care for people with memory loss and to be proactive in meeting each individual's needs.
Memory Care Philosophy
The Reflections philosophy is to provide positive everyday experiences that give meaning and value to the lives of our senior residents. This is accomplished through involvement in homelike routines, a specially designed, secure environment, support of family, and maintaining residents' connections to the community.
Memory Care Senior Living Arrangements
Reflections is a neighborhood within the senior assisted living community for our residents who need additional safety guards. It includes a secured living area with a family-style dining room, living room and individual studio apartment homes, each with a private bathroom.
Bringing Forth Good Memories while Creating New Moments
Some of our residents with alzheimers, dementia and other memory constraints thrive on reminiscing. We have structured our daily life activities to focus on past experiences giving feelings of success and accomplishment when residents share highlights of their lives with friends.
Each member of our senior community is celebrated through reminiscing and sharing of their life histories and stories familiar to them that allow their best-self to shine.
Personalized services are provided by our Resident Care team 24-hours daily and case management is provided by a Registered Nurse. Respite services are available for short-term stay needs.
Reflections offers educational programs about alzheimers, dementia and other injuries and disease that impact memory to residents and their families. We encourage family involvement and try to help families understand the disease that is imparing their loved one's memory.
